Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery Removal

1. Who Can Submit a Request

You may submit a removal request if you are:

• An identifiable individual depicted in non-consensual intimate visual content on boopr; or
• A person authorized to act on behalf of such an individual (e.g., a parent or guardian for a minor, an authorized agent acting under a written authorization or power of attorney, or law enforcement).

2. What to Include

A valid removal request should include, to the extent reasonably available, the elements required under the TAKE IT DOWN Act:

• Identification of the specific content (post URL, message ID, screenshot, the username of the account that posted it, or other identifier sufficient for us to locate it on the service).
• Identification of the depicted individual and a statement that you are that individual or are authorized to act on their behalf.
• A good-faith statement that the intimate visual depiction was published without the depicted individual’s consent.
• Your physical or electronic signature and contact information for follow-up.

The intake form at the bottom of this page collects each of these elements and assembles them into an email to [email protected]. You can also send the same information directly via email or postal mail — both options are listed below.

Use the form at the bottom of this page (jump to form). The form opens a pre-filled email to our legal team in your default mail application; nothing is transmitted to any other server.

4. What Happens After We Receive Your Request

Upon receiving a valid removal request, we will remove the specifically identified content and take reasonable steps to identify and remove known identical copies within forty-eight (48) hours.

Because content on boopr is encrypted on the user’s device before it ever reaches our servers, we cannot independently identify duplicate copies by inspecting them. “Reasonable steps” in our context consist of deleting the encrypted content blob from our servers and revoking the associated decryption keys, which renders any distributed encrypted copies of that content undecryptable.

Accounts that share NCII may be suspended or permanently terminated. NCII involving minors will be treated with the utmost severity and may also be reported under our CSAM obligations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

Consistent with the good-faith protection in the TAKE IT DOWN Act, boopr is not liable for the good-faith removal of, or disabling access to, material claimed to be a non-consensual intimate visual depiction based on facts or circumstances from which the unlawful publishing of the depiction is apparent.

5. Privacy of Your Request

Information you provide in a removal request is handled by personnel responsible for processing the report and is retained only as long as necessary to act on the report and any related legal proceedings. We do not disclose the identity of a reporter to the reported user. Report data may be shared with law enforcement where required by law. See our Privacy Policy for details.
